New York Studio hosts Metropolis Think Tank on Work and Place

How can we be happier at work? How can designers, developers, and tenants contribute to employee retention? In collaboration with Metropolis magazine, the New York studio hosted a standing-room-only Think Tank panel addressing these, and other, questions. Avi Rajagopal, editor-in-chief of Metropolis, moderated a lively discussion between panelists Erik Horvat, Managing Director, Head of Real Estate – Americas at The Olayan Group; Jackie Manzer, Director of Workplace Experience at Convene; Bruce E. Phillips, Senior Managing Director at Tishman Speyer; and Anthony Nelson, Global Creative Leader, ERA-co. This diversity of perspectives made for a well-rounded exploration of the challenges and trends in delivering work/life experiences to tenants and their workforce.

Think Tank is a continuing education series that travels to leading architecture and design firms throughout North America, challenging the industry to examine the strengths and weaknesses of current design-thinking and practice.
